Growing Tomorrow’s Leaders:
FFA Leadership Camp with Almon and John-Michael

Highland County, VA. — FFA student leaders from across the region recently gathered for a high-energy leadership camp led by Almon Gunter, former world-class sprinter and CEO of AGE3 (Almon Gunter Experience) and John-Michael Castillo (COO of AGE3).

The leadership camp, called Skillz in the Hillz held at The Property in Leesburg, VA, combined live coaching, obstacle challenges, and group breakouts to prepare students with practical leadership tools they can use both in school and in life.

Grounded in AGE3's proven principles of mindset, communication, and service leadership, the program gave students opportunities to:

• Set a clear vision and communicate it with confidence
• Lead with character under pressure, embracing the motto “every day is game day”
• Build trust with their peers and resolve friction quickly
• Translate goals into action plans they can execute with impact

“Leadership doesn’t wait for the perfect moment, rather, it’s built by the choices you make every single day,” said Almon Gunter.

“FFA students already bring grit and work ethic. Our camp helps them strengthen those qualities with the right mindset and playbook to create real impact.”

The Program Delivered

• Keynote – Lead with Your Life: The seven essentials of outstanding leadership
• Breakouts: Communication reps, team-challenge drills, and confidence reps
• Coach’s Corner: Live Q&A with Almon and John-Michael
• Action Plan: Every student leaves with a personalized leadership game plan
