Throwin’ It Back: Where the Winning Culture Was Born

Before stages. Before keynotes. Before coaching CEOs and training future pros—I was locked in on one mission: to become one of the fastest men in the world. And I did. Ranked 13th in the world in the 100 meters, I didn’t get there by talent alone. I got there by showing up when no one else would. By pushing through when most people quit. By deciding every single day that I wasn’t chasing average—I was chasing milliseconds.
Back then, I wasn’t doing it for followers or applause. I was doing it because I made a decision: to go all in on becoming the best version of myself. That same energy powers the Almon Gunter Experience today. Whether I’m speaking to corporate leaders, student-athletes, or entire teams—the message is the same:
• Winning isn’t an outcome. It’s a mindset
• Discipline over distractions
• Effort when no one’s watching
• Mental toughness over comfort

You don’t become world-class by luck—you become world-class by choice. So here’s my question for you:

What are you doing to chase greatness and go all in?
