Competition, teamwork, and community come together this fall at Quake at the Lake, a Coed Reverse Quads Grass Volleyball Tournament taking place Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Lake Swan Camp in Melrose, Florida.
Designed to be more than a traditional volleyball tournament, Quake at the Lake will bring athletes, families, organizations, and supporters together for a full day of competition, connection, and fun in a family-friendly environment.
The tournament will feature Coed Reverse Quads, a four-person volleyball format that delivers fast-paced play while putting an emphasis on communication, teamwork, and strategy.
“Sports have an incredible ability to teach us how to communicate, compete, lead, and work together,” said Almon Gunter, founder and CEO of Almon Gunter Experience (AGE3). “We want teams to come ready to play hard, have fun, and be part of an experience they’ll remember.”
More Than Volleyball
Teams are encouraged to bring their personalities to the court through the event’s Theme Your Team challenge. Participants can choose a fun, family-friendly team name and create a matching look using shirts, colors, costumes, accessories, or other creative ideas.
Participation in Theme Your Team is optional but highly encouraged, giving teams another way to build camaraderie and add energy to the day.
Quake at the Lake also reflects AGE3’s commitment to using sports and competition as platforms for developing leadership, confidence, character, and stronger communities.
Gunter, a former world-class sprinter and two-time U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier, has spent decades working with athletes, executives, organizations, and young people to help individuals recognize their potential and develop the motivation, discipline, and determination needed to achieve their goals.
